TrackDataset.climatology¶

TrackDataset.climatology(climo_bounds=(1991, 2020))[source]¶

Create a climatology for this dataset given start and end seasons. If none passed, defaults to 1991-2020.

Parameters: climo_bounds (list or tuple, optional) – Start and end year for the climatology range. Default is (1991,2020).
Returns: dict – Dictionary containing the climatology for this dataset.

Notes

If in southern hemisphere, year is the 2nd year of the season (e.g., 1975 for 1974-1975).
